Grant is extremely active. He is a physical boy. He loves climbing, running, wrestling, throwing the ball, anything that involves movement. He's also my snuggler. He loves to sit in your lap and read books and he gives big hugs! He's my big eater and eats just about whatever you put in front of him. He has many words, too many to count at this point and has started putting two words together. He knows his animals and the sounds they make, he uses his manners saying "more please," and "thank you." He can name everyone in our family, including his affectionate name for Cooper, "Poop" or "Pooper." Everyday he says new words and attempts to repeat anything we ask him to.
Cooper loves his trains, cars, and trucks. He lines them up on the couch and drives them around. He gets a little aggressive with them too, there are many crashes and accidents with his cars. It's a little too aggressive for the mommy, but Jeff keeps reminding me that he's a boy and that's what boys do! Cooper loves to read books too. He will carry a book over to you and back his bottom right into your lap for you to read to him. His vocabulary is booming too with new words popping up everyday. He knows body parts, animal names and sounds, and can name many vehicles. He is a charmer and smiles at everyone he sees.
It has been so much fun in the past six months to watch them both change and develop. They really started to interact with each other over the past six months. They chase each other, play peek-a-boo, and make each other laugh. They steal toys from each other and then give hugs and apologize. They love their big brother too! Grant seems to want to be just like Jack. I find him imitating Jackson a lot!
Here are the three of them last year at this time. They've changed so much and I can't wait to see what the next six months hold.
These sweet boys warms Grandma Linda's heart!
