One of the boys' favorite summer activities...swimming in the pool! They have turned into little fish this summer. No surprise considering who their daddy is. :) Both Jackson and Cooper can make it across the width of the pool by themselves, and Grant has gotten about half way. They conquered the big water slide this summer too! It's so fun to watch them, and this mommy loves how pool time wears them out! :)

Jackson
I can't believe we have about one more month until school starts again! Jackson will be in first grade and at school for a full day. He is so excited for first grade, most of all to eat lunch at school and get TWO recesses! Oh the things that excite a six year old boy! I am trying my best to prepare myself now for the fact that he will be gone all day. This is a part of life and he is ready to go but boy am I going to miss him!
BUT before first grade starts, let's talk kindergarten. Jackson had an amazing year in kindergarten. He loved his teacher and made huge improvements in reading, math and his writing. He was given enrichment for both reading and math twice a week. Jeff and I were just amazed at how much he learned over the course of the year. One day at the end of the year, his teacher told me he had read a second grade book to her! Wow, amazing considering he wasn't much of a reader going in to kindergarten. Socially, kindergarten had some challenges for Jack, but he made it through and seemed to be very well adjusted and happy by the end of the year. We are excited to see what first grade has in store for our little man.

Growing
My belly is ever growing! This baby has been very active, much more so than I remember with the others. We have about 15 weeks to go and it can't come soon enough. I've been super uncomfortable this time around and am just anxious to hold this baby in my arms!
