Jeff didn't have school on Thursday so we planned a special day for Jackson. Jeff and I took Jackson on the train to Libertyville to play and have lunch, while the little boys were at home with a babysitter. It's always fun to experience things through a three year old's eyes. He gets so excited about the train, handing tickets to the conductor, watching the world go by as he looks out the window, and then of course watching as the train disappears once we've gotten off it. Jeff and I enjoyed having a few hours of one-on-one time with our big boy. Jackson is usually full of energy and ready to run, but instead wanted to be carried everywhere. I think he just wanted to soak up as much snuggle time as possible without his brothers around. It was a successful outing, minus a few meltdowns, and everyone was ready for a nap when we got home!
